In Dragon's Domain we saw the Ultra Probe, an Earth ship from 1996. It docked to an alien spaceship and released a deadly enemy.

The pilot section of the Ultra Probe separated to form a lifeboat.

The lifeboat features a top escape hatch, seen here. There are four large rear boosters, and side attitude control boosters.
The large (48cm) Ultra Probe lifeboat model, twice the size of the one shown above and highly detailed. Compare the hatch detailing with that on the 5ft Ultra Probe model in this shot from the Cybrary Exhibit
A side view showing the attitute control rockets. Note the insignia, a triangular motif with a large arc and stars along the top edge.
The arc resembles a Star Trek Federation symbol.
The underside. The arms at rear lock the module to the rest of the Probe ship.
The arms were inspired by the locking arms of the domes in the film Silent Running.
The front view showing the viewports.
This view looks very like an Eagle. Most Earth ships shared this design characteristic.
